Does Enquiring Hold My Date?
When you enquire about a date, we note the details of your event in our diary, but it doesn’t reserve that date for you. Your booking is only confirmed once the deposit is paid. If we receive another inquiry for the same date, we’ll do our best to inform you, but we operate on a first-booked basis. Occasionally, we may accept multiple bookings for the same day.

How Far in Advance Can I Book?
We happily accept bookings up to three years in advance. The earlier you reach out, the better! However, we also accommodate last-minute requests when possible. If you’re interested in booking us, contact us, and we’d be delighted to discuss your plans, regardless of how far ahead they are.
Do I Need to Pay a Deposit?
Yes, once the details of your event are confirmed, we will provide an informed quote. After finalizing everything, we’ll send you an invoice for the non-refundable 20% deposit required to secure your booking.
Confirming Your Booking
To secure your booking, a non-refundable deposit of 20% is required upon confirmation. Payment can be made via bank transfer.

What If Plans Change?
As your event approaches, details like timings and requirements may change. We ask for as much information as possible when you book. Please notify us of any changes, especially since we might have multiple bookings on the same day. A month before your event, we’ll reach out to confirm all details, and a final non-refundable payment of 80% is due 30 days before the event.

When booking, please provide us with the following details:
Full names of the clients
Date of the event
Full venue address
Event timings and performance timings
Any special requirements you may have
Once we have this information, we can prepare an informed quote for you. After finalizing the details, we’ll send an invoice for the non-refundable 20% deposit to secure your booking.
Questions to Ask Your Venue
Before finalizing your booking with us, check your venue’s music policy. Each venue has its own rules and licenses. Here are a few questions to consider:
Are there any sound restrictions for acoustic or amplified music?
Where do musicians typically perform, both indoors and outdoors?
Can the venue provide appropriate shelter for outdoor performances? Options like a gazebo, pergola, or large tree are ideal.

What Will You Need on the Day?
On the day of your event, we’ll require:
Two or more armless chairs (depending on the size of the ensemble), although we always bring our own stools as a backup.
Approximately 2m x 2m of space with adequate lighting for our performance.
A designated area to store our cases and bags.
Basic refreshments, including a glass of water each, to keep us hydrated.
If we’re performing outdoors, please ensure there’s adequate shade or shelter, and that we’re positioned on level ground with protection from high winds.
Do You Require Food and Drink?
While food and drink are not expected, they are always appreciated. A glass of water each helps us stay hydrated and focused. If canapés are circulating or a cup of tea is offered, we won’t say no! Depending on the length of our performance sets, we may need breaks to refresh and replenish ourselves, ensuring that we remain energized throughout your event.
What If One of the Duo Is Ill or Unavailable?
In the unlikely event that one of us is unable to perform due to illness or unavailability, we have a network of professional musicians we work with regularly. We will arrange for another skilled musician to step in, ensuring that your event is still in expert hands.
